There are 3 ways you can use Young Living essential oils. Please keep in mind these essential oils are pure and not all essential oils are equal. Anything recommended or suggested on this site is approved by Health Canada with Young Living essential oils only.
1-Aromatically
This is most commonly done with a diffuser. You can also inhale essential oils directly from the bottle to benefit from them aromatically or by placing one drop in the palm of your hands, rubbing your hands together, cupping them over your nose and deeply inhaling.
2-Topically
This is the most common way we use essential oils in our home. You can apply essential oils topically on your skin. If you’re brand new to this, please refer to essential oil safety before using them topically. A great way to start is by applying essential oils on the bottoms of your feet. This is a safe and easy way to benefit your entire body (think reflexology). Applying essential oils directly to the area of concern is another way to use essential oils topically. For example, if you have a cough, you can apply certain essential oils to your chest or back. You can also apply essential oils on your wrists, neck or behind the ear to apply as a perfume all the while benefiting from the plants’ properties.
3-Food Flavouring
Young Living has a + line of essential oils which can be used to flavour food. You can add a drop of Lime + to your margarita or guacamole for example.
